Advt. no. CEN 01/2024 Recruitment for the Post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) & Technician Categories :- Railway Recruitment Board has recently issued Awaited Notification for Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician Posts. RRB will make Recruitment on 5696 ALP & 9000Technician Posts, First stage Computer Based Test (CBT) is Tentatively scheduled during April and May, 2024. but it was postponed due to large applications. More than 50 Lac Candidates has applied for Railway Loco Pilot technician Posts. Exam will conduct in 13 Languages.

RRB ALP Technician Admit Card 2024 :

All the shortlisted candidates shall be advised through official website of RRBs/ SMS / Email to download their Exam City Intimation about 10 days prior to the 2nd Stage CBT. The e-call letter will be available for download four days prior to examination date. The date, time and venue for all the activities, namely, CBT, Aptitude Test and DV or any other additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by the RRBs and shall be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. Request for postponement of any of the above activity or for change of venue, date and shift will not be entertained under any circumstances. As Per Official Notification Computer Based Test (CBT): for RRB ALP Technician Posts Tentatively scheduled during August, 2024.

NOTE : The Computer Based Aptitude Test will have a Test Battery comprising of five tests and candidates will have to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test of the test battery to qualify for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot. This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible on any ground. There will be no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test. The guidelines and sample Mock link for Computer Based Aptitude Test will be available on the official websites of RRBs and RDSO (www.rdso.indianrailways.gov.in> Directorates> Psycho-Technical).

RRB ALP/ Technician Selection Process : There shall be two stages examination (First stage CBT and Second Stage CBT) common for ALP and Technician. In addition, candidates who have opted for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT have to undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT). Marks will be normalized in all the stages of exam. There are 5 Steps of Selection Process :

• First Stage CBT (Computer Based Exam).
• Second Stage CBT (Computer Based Exam).
• Computer Based Aptitude Test (Only for candidates who have opted for ALP).
• Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
• Medical Examination

RRB ALP Technician Aptitude Test 2024 : Candidate may note that the Aptitude Test will be a Computer Based Aptitude Test. The Computer Based Aptitude Test will have a Test Battery comprising of five tests and the candidates will have to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test of the test battery to qualify for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot. RRB ALP Technician 1st 2nd Stage CBT Exam Pattern:

• 2nd Stage Exam has Two Parts i.e. Part A & Part B. Time Duration for 2nd Stage CBT Exam is 02 Hour 30 Minutes.
• Part A consists of Total 100 Questions & Time Limit is 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 minutes).
• The marks scored in Part A alone shall be used for short listing of candidates for further stages of recruitment process subject to the condition that the candidate is securing qualifying mark in Part B.
• Part B consists of Total 75 Questions & Time Limit is 60 Minutes (1 Hour).
• Qualifying Marks for Part B Exam is 35%. (This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible)
