Details of Vacancies (Advt. No. 03/2020) : Total 484 Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) Posts.  Category wise Vacancy Details are as follows :

• General/ UR : 186 Posts
• OBC : 125 Posts
• OBC Female : 07 Posts
• EWS Candidates : 41 Posts
• EBC Candidates : 46 Posts
• SC : 72 Posts
• ST : 07 Posts

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023) :  Age Limit Criteria for Bihar Police Forest Guard Post is as Follows :
1. for General Candidates (Male/ Female) : 18 to 23 Years.
2. for OBC/ EBC Candidates (Male) : 18 to 25 Years, for OBC/ EBC Candidates (Female) : 18 to 25 Years
3. for SC/ ST Candidates (Male/ Female) : 18 to 28 Years

Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2023): Candidate should have passed 12th/ Intermediate or any equivalent exam from recognized State/ Central Govt Board

Pay Scale : Level 3 Rs. 21,700- 69100

Application Fee : Candidates can submit Application Fee thorugh Debit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking/ Challan. Fee should be as follows :
Gen/BC/EBC – Rs. 450/- & SC/ST- Rs. 112/-

Selection Process : Selection for Forest Guard Posts in Bihar Police will be based on Written Exam, Physical Test, Document Verification & Medical Examination
