Coal India has conducted Computer Based Written Exam for 398 Posts of Management Trainee (Personnel & HR, Environment, Materials Management, Marketing & Sales, Community Development, Legal, Public Relations & Company Secretary ). Written Test for all posts conducted on Same Day. CIL has conducted Written Exam on 07 September, 2022.  Exam was conduct in various shifts.

About Written Exam for Trainee Posts : The duration of Computer Based Online Test was 3 hours (in one sitting) consisting of two papers (Paper-I & Paper-II) of 100 marks each. Paper-I consist of General Knowledge/ Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General English and Paper-II consist of Professional Knowledge (Discipline related) with 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) in each paper. Each question will carry 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answer. No marks will be awarded for un-attempted questions. The question paper shall be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi only.

Coal India Management Trainee Exam Cut Off Marks 2022 :  Aspirants who appeared for CIL MT 2022 Exam will know that Exam was of Total 200 Marks. Exam was of Objective Type & Negative Marking is not applicable in exam. CIL MT Cut Off 2022 for Online Objective Exam will be decided as follows :

1. There will be No Sectional Cut Off in CIL MT Exam. Candidates need not to worry.
2. Cut Off will depend on Exam Level & No. of Candidates appeared in Exam.
3. Cut Off will decide Category wise for General, OBC, SC/ ST. There will be separate cut off for Female, Freedom Fighters, Ex Servicemen & PH Candidates.
4. Next Stage for Management Trainee Exam is Interview. Candidates will be called for Document Verification

NOTE : Official CIL MT exam cut off Marks will be decided from Written Exam from 200 Marks. Cut Off Marks will be decided category wise. *The Marks indicated are normalized across multiple sessions, discipline wise. Qualifying marks in the Computer Based Online Test
GENERAL (UR) / EWS   : Minimum 40 marks in each paper
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : Minimum 35 marks in each paper
SC / ST / PwD : Minimum 30 marks in each paper

After Result Process : Selection will be through Online Computer Based Test followed by Interview, Certificate Verification and Medical Examination of the provisionally selected candidates. Candidates shortlisted based on performance in Online test will be called for Personal Interview & Certificate Verification. Merit list will be prepared separately for each branch and category as per the vacancies in each branch. In case Online Examination is conducted in multiple sessions for a single discipline, the marks of the candidates shall be normalized across multiple sessions discipline wise.
