The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi. one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test for Primary Level & Upper Primary Level. CBSE conducts two paper under CTET Exam. Paper 1 is for becoming teacher for Classes I-V Primary Stage & Paper 2  is for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII Elementary Stage. CBSE has organized CTET 2024 Exam on 21 Jan 2024. Information regarding CTET Exam Result 2024 is provided in this Article.

CTET 2024 Result Date : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce CTET 2024 Result for Primary Level & Upper Primary Level Exam. CTET Result may announce in the month of February 2024. Candidates need to keep an eye on Official Portal for CTET 2024 Result.

About CTET Exam : In Both Paper 1 & Paper 2, there were Total 150 Questions. CTET 2021 Exam comprises of Total 150 Marks. Time Limit for CTET 2021 exam is 150 minutes (02 Hour 30 Minutes). Paper 1 was for Primary Level & Paper 2 was for Upper Primary Level (Elementary Stage). More than 22 Lac Candidates applied for CTET 2022 Exam. Written Exam was conducted at 2296 Centres all over India.

Qualifying Marks And Award Of CTET Certificate : The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.

• School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
• Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Validity Period of CTET Certificate : The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

Issue of Duplicate CTET Certificate/ Documents : A candidate can get a duplicate copy of Marks Statement or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi. Time for issue of duplicate document will be within 14 working Days. Candidates has to pay Rs.200/- + Rs. 35/- (Postal Charges).

How to Access Your CTET Mark Sheet and Certificate through DigiLocker :

• CTET mark sheets and certificates are now available in DigiLocker.
• Candidates will receive their DigiLocker username through SMS on the mobile number registered with CBSE.
• If you are accessing your DigiLocker account for the first time, your username is your registered mobile number and your account password will be your mother’s first name (in lower case) as mentioned on your admit card followed by last four digits of your roll number e.g. if your mother’s name on your admit card is A Kumari and roll number is 1234567, your password will be a4567. If your mother’s name on your admit card is Sushmita Mahajan and your roll number is 1234567, your password will be sushmita4567.
• If you are unable to login with above credentials, you may try to reset your password by following ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page.
• If your are still unable to login, please email us at support[at]digitallocker[dot]gov[dot]in mentioning your registered mobile number and CTET roll number.
• If you did not receive the SMS containing your credentials or you no longer have access to the mobile number registered with CBSE, you can still get your digital certificates by signing up on DigiLocker and linking your Aadhaar number with your account.
