Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has organized Online Written Test for Social Security Assistant Examination 2023 (PAY LEVEL-4). EPFO has conducted Social Security Assistant Preliminary Exam from 18 to 23 August 2023. Written Exam was conducted at various centre all over the country. EPFO SSA Phase I Exam Result Date 2023 : Last Date of September, 2023 (Expected)
After Result Process : EPFO SSA Phase 1 Exam conducted under online mode. There were 100 Questions asked in exam comprised of 100 Marks. Negative Marking was applicable in the exam. Candidates who qualified Written Exam will be called for SSA Phase 2Exam. After Verification candidates will be eligible for Provisioal Allotment. List of Selected Candidates will publish on website.
Phase II – Computer Skill Test (Computer Data Entry Test) : Candidates who qualify in Phase 1 Exam will be required to appear for the Skill Test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. Minimum requirement is 5000 key depressions per hour. Candidates short-listed for Skill Test will have to appear for a Skill Test. Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.

EPFO SSA Phase 1 Exam Cut Off Marks 2023 : Those who secure minimum marks each section & overall in both objective type questions in the written test will be considered for short-listing for Next Stage. However, depending upon the vacancies to be filled-up, a higher cut-off percentage may be prescribed. Those who secure minimum marks in written test and qualify in the Mains Exam will be considered for empanelment in the order of merit, subject to number of vacancies notified. Qualifying Marks in Phase-I (Preliminary Exam.) and Phase–II (Main Exam.) will be decided as per discretion of EPFO.
NOTE : The cut off will be different for each state, so it will vary accordingly. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I.
Process for Arriving at Scores : If the examination is held in more than one session, the process of moderation will follow to ensure fairness (More than one session are required if the nodes capacity is less or some technical disruption takes place at any center or for any candidate.).
Note: Cut-offs are applied in two stages:
a. on scores in individual tests
b. on Total Score
