IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2023: For the posts of Clerical Cadre the examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. For the post of Clerk, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Document Verification/ Provisional Allotment to be coordinated by the Nodal Banks and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

IBPS Clerk Call Letter 2023: The Centre, venue address, date and time for examinations (Preliminary/ Main) shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorized IBPS website www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier. Intimations will be sent by email and/ sms to the email ID and mobile number registered in the online application form.

Please note that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the Online Preliminary as well as Online Main Examination without the following documents:
(1) Valid Call Letter for the respective date and session of Examination
(2) Photo-identity proof (as specified) in original bearing the same name as it appears on the call letter/ application form and
(3) Photocopy of photo-identity proof
(4) Candidates reporting late i.e. after the reporting time specified on the call letter for Examination will not be permitted to take the examination
IBPS Clerk Pre Exam Pattern 2023 : There will be Online Multiple Choice Type Exam for Clerical Cadre Posts. Pattern will be as :
- There will be 100 questions comprising of 100 Marks in the Exam.
- Time Duration for Clerk Objective Exam is 1 Hour (60 minutes).
- There will be sectional time limit in exam.
- Questions will be asked from Reasoning, English & Quantitative Aptitude.
- Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks is applicable.
