Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT I & II ) – 2024 : PGAT 2024-25 will be conducted for the following PG courses: PGAT- (32 courses, along with LL.B., M.Com. and LL.M.), and PGAT-I| (24 courses including B.Ed., M.Ed., MBA (RD) & MBA) in addition to the professional courses (M.C.A., M.Sc. Food Tech., M.Voc. Media Studies and P.G.D.C.A.) offered by Institute of Professional Studies (IPS). The applicants are advised to go through the university website for detailed information about the courses. The University is offering M.Tech. in Materials Science and Technology through the Centre of Materials Science from this year with a capacity of 15 students.
UNIVERSITY OF ALLAHABAD UGAT 2024 :: Allahabad University conduct Entrance Exam for B.A., B.Sc. (Maths), B.Sc. (Bio), B.Sc. (Home Science), B.Com. B.F.A., B.P.A., Professional Courses (under Institute of Professional Studies) – [BCA, B.Voc. (Food Processing and Technology/Fashion Design and Technology/Media Studies), B.A. (Fashion Design and Technology/Media Studies), Diploma (Two year advance diploma in Fashion Design and Technology). The registration fee, Entrance Syllabus, Eligibility and course fee structure for Session 2024-25 Professional Courses (under Institute of Professional Studies) is applicable as mentioned in IPS Brochure.
Under Graduate Admission Test (UGAT) – 2024 : UGAT-2024 is the Undergraduates Entrance Examination for the session 2024-25 for admission to the Ist Year of regular UG degree courses only i.e. B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. (Maths), B.Sc.(Bio), B.Sc. (Home Science), B.F.A., B.P.A. of the University of Allahabad and its eight (08) Constituent Colleges. The list of Centres under Online and Offline mode will be made available at the Time of Application and will be available on Admission-2023 link of www.allduniv.ac.in.
Eligibility for UGAT-2024 :
1. An applicant who has passed or appeared in any stream of the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination equivalent. The equivalence as defined in University Ordinances-2008 or by UGC Regulations as decided from time to time thereto is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Tests (UGAT).
2. An applicant who has passed or appeared at the above examination with Science Group is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Maths, Biology and Home Science groups respectively).
3. The candidate who has passed or appeared in the above examination with Commerce stream or Science stream will be eligible for admission to B.Com.
4. For BA (Music)/B.P.A application forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Music as one of the subjects at Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Music from a recognized Institution.
5. Only such female applicants are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Home Science), who have passed or appeared at the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination equivalent either with
(a) Science Group, or
(b) With any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High School (or equivalent) examination with Science Group.
6. For B.A. (Urdu) application forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Urdu as one of the subjects at Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Urdu from a recognized Institution.
7. For B.A. (Geography) application forms of only those candidates would be considered who have Geography as one of the subjects at Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Geography from a recognized Institution.
B.Sc. (Home Science) : Only such female applicants who have passed or appeared at the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination equivalent examination either with
(a) Science Group, or
(b) With any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High School (or equivalent) examination with Science Group are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Home Science).
i- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (opt) Music/BPA : Student must have Music in Intermediate level.
ii- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (opt) Geography : Student must have Geography or Science in
Intermediate level.
iii- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (opt) Urdu : Student must have Urdu in Intermediate level.
Note:
1. A candidate who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream is not eligible to apply for any of the streams of UGAT-2024.
2. The entrance test for Admissionn in B.Sc. (Home Science) wil be canducted separately.
Application Fee : The Registration Fees for Unreserved, EWS and OBC Category is Rs. 800/- and SC/ST/PH is Rs. 400/-. (The Registration fee for Professional Courses are applicable as described in the brochure of Institute of Professional Studies)
UGAT-2024 Registration : Registration for UGAT-2024 can be done only by Online Registration at CUET Portal or Admission-2024 link at www.allduniv.ac.in Submission of Onlime Form for UGAT-2024. Candidates can submit online form for the UGAT-2024 test at the website of www.alldiniv.ac.in. The website provides all the information required for Online Form submission.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR Allahabad University PGAT Notification 2024 ON-LINE SUBMISSION: PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM FOR ADMISSION TEST :
Candidates can submit online form for the Admission Test-2024 at the concerned link of the website or Admission-2024 link of www.allduniv.ac.in. The website has all the information required for Online Form submission. Aspirants are advised to read the prospectus carefully before applying.
Requirement for Online Form Submission : Admission aspirants are required to have a scanned copy of their coloured photograph (3.5 cm. x 4.5 cm) and their signature. These scanned copies of coloured photo (3.5cm. x 4.5 cm) in JPEG Format (*.JPG) 80 KB and signature in JPEG (*.JPG) 80 KB Format are required to be uploaded during the online form submission. The file size of photograph (80 KB) and signature (80KB) in any case shall not exceed. All aspirants filling the Online Form are advised to read the instructions to fill up the Online Form, which has all the pre-requisite and the guidelines to this regard.
