- Vacancies reserved for Home Guards : 301 Posts
- Non Home Guards Vacancies : 250 Posts
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023) : Age Limit Criteria for Bihar Home Guards Sepoy Recruitment is as Follows :
Non Home Guards :
Minimum 18 years & Maximum 25 years for unreserved male & Female candidates
27 years for BC/ EBC category male candidates
28 years for BC/ EBC category Female candidates
30 years for SC/ ST category Male & Female candidates.
There will be five years of relaxation in upper age limit for Bihar Home Guards.
For Home Guards :
Minimum 24 & Maximum 50 Years For All Reserved Category Home Guards Candidates.
Their service Should Have Completed 05 years & 10 Years Remaining In Retirement.
Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2023): Candidate should have passed 12th/ Intermediate or any equivalent exam from recognized State/ Central Govt Board
Pay Scale : Pay Scale Level – 3, Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/-
Application Fee : Candidates can submit Application Fee thorugh Debit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking/ Challan. Fee should be as follows :
SC/ST- Rs. 112/-
Selection Process : Selection for Constable Posts in Bihar Police will be based on Written Exam, Physical Test, Document Verification & Medical Examination.
