Bihar Police ASI Steno Selection Process 2024 : BPSSC Steno Assistant Sub Inspector Selection Process comprises of Following Steps :

1. Preliminary (Pre) Exam
2. Mains Written Exam
3. Physical Eligibility Test/ Physical Endurance Test (PET)
4. Hindi Stenography Test & Computer Knowledge Test
5. Document Verification
6. Medical Examination

Bihar Police ASI Steno Written Exam 2024 : Bihar Police Sub Ordinate Services Commission will conduct Written Test for All Eligible Candidates. Written Exam will conduct in two Phases i.e. Pre Exam & Mains Exam. Written Exam for All Stages will be Objective Multiple Choice Type.

Bihar Police ASI Steno Pre Exam Pattern 2024

1. There will be One Question Paper in ASI Pre Exam of 200 Marks.
2. There will be Total 100 Questions in Preliminary Written Exam.
3. Time Duration for Bihar Police ASI Steno Pre Exam is 120 Minutes (02 Hour).
4. Negative Marking of 0.20 Marks is applicable in Pre Exam.
5. There will be questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs in Pre Exam.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Candidates have to secure minimum 30% Marks to qualify for Mains Exam. For Mains Exam Candidates will be called 20 times of Total Vacancies based on result for Pre Exam.

Bihar Police ASI Steno Mains Exam Pattern 2024

1. BPSSC ASI Mains Exam comprises of Two Papers. Both Papers will be objective Type.
2. Time Duration for Both Papers of Mains Exam is 120 Minutes (02 Hour).
3. Negative Marking of 0.20 Marks is also applicable in Mains Exam.

IMPORTANT NOTE :

• Candidates have to secure minimum 30% Marks in Paper 1 of General Hindi otherwise Candidates will be disqualified.
• Marks of Paper 1 will not count in Final Merit List
• For Physical Exam/ Stenography Test, Candidates will be called 6 times of Total Vacancies as per Result of Mains Exam.

Bihar Police ASI Steno Syllabus 2024 Pre-Mains Exam

General Knowledge & Current Events : Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports : championships/ Winners/ Terms /No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.

General Hindi : Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error,Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

General Studies : Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy etc. Focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, sports etc.

General Science : Questions of General Science will include to test knowledge of matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject. It will Also Include the Knowledge of the Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology form the level of 12th Standard.

Civics, Indian History, Geography of India : Questions of Social Study will include Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of Geographical and Political condition of Bihar.

Mathematics : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart and Data Interpretation etc.

Mental Ability Test (Reasoning) : The test will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. Physical Eligibility Test.
