RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS IN JUNIOR MANAGEMENT GRADE SCALE-I ON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF SPECIALLY DESIGNED POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN BANKING & FINANCE (PGDBF) COURSE. Canara Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank with Head Office in Bengaluru and pan India presence with over 6100 branches, has invited Online Applications for admissions to the specially designed One year training course leading to Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) either through Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd., Bengaluru or NITTE Education International Pvt Ltd., Mangaluru, which are recognised by UGC. Canara Bank has announced 800 Vacancies for Probationary Officer Post. As Mention in Official notification, Written Exam will conduct First to select candidates for Next Stage. Written Exam will conduct in December, 2018.
Candidates shall be selected by Canara Bank through a selection process consisting of an (open) online test conducted by IBPS followed by Interview and/or Group Discussion. The selection process aims at getting applicants who are likely to succeed at various roles in the Bank. The endeavor is to select people who are bright, dedicated, have good communication skills (both oral and written), can work effectively in teams, are passionate about their career goals and who display integrity and a positive attitude.

Exact date and time of the examination will be intimated in the Call Letter along with the Centre/Venue for the Examination, well in advance of the date of the Examination. The Candidates should note that all the instructions/ intimations will be provided on the Bank’s website only. The candidates are requested to check the website for the same from time to time for important dates and notifications. Decision of the Bank in respect of all matters pertaining to this admission process would be final & binding on all candidates.

Some Points about Written Exam :
- Written Exam will conduct under Online Mode. There will be Objective Type Questions in Exam.
- Online Exam Carry Total 200 Marks (200 Marks for Objective Paper & 50 Marks for Descriptive Paper).
- Time Duration for Written Exam is 2 Hours.
- Bank will decide the minimum cut-off marks for each subject as well as Total Score. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each subject and also a minimum total score as decided by Bank to be considered for Group Discussion and Interview.
NOTE : Each Candidate will be required to obtain minimum score in each objective test and also minimum total score in the objective test. Depending on the number of vacancies cut offs will be decided in each test.
