J&K Bank functions as a universal bank in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and as a specialised bank in the rest of the country. It is also designated as RBI’s agent for banking business, and carries out the banking business of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, besides collecting central taxes for CBDT. Online Applications are invited from the candidates of Domicile of J&K – UT, fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the following posts in the Bank. Details of Vacancies (for Ladakh UT) : Total 45 Posts.
- Probationary Officer : 20 Posts
- Banking Associate : 25 Posts
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2023) :
Probationary Officer : Minimum: 20 Years ; Maximum: 32 Years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1989 and not later than 01.04.2001 (both dates inclusive).
Banking Associates : Minimum: 20 Years ; Maximum: 30 Years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1991 and not later than 01.04.2001 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification :
Probationary Officer : Graduate in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central government and the final result should have been
declared on or before the day the candidate registers online application.
Banking Associate : Graduate in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central government and the final result should have been declared on or before the day the candidate registers online application.
Application Fee:-
Probationary Officer : The Candidates will pay the requisite fee (1000/- for General Category & 800/- for Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) Category) to be paid through online mode. No other Mode of payment is available.
Banking Associate : The Candidates will pay the requisite fee (800/- for General Category & 600/- for Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) Category) to be paid through online mode. No other Mode of payment is available.
Selection Process:-
Banking Associates : Online Written Test
Probationary Officer : Preliminary Examination & Main Examination
HOW TO APPLY : Application form should be accepted by only online mode. Offline or any other mode will be rejected. So all the candidates from permanent residents of J&K State apply can only through the online mode and without submission application fee the form not be accepted. All the candidates before submission application fee check all the entry fill in the form is correct. Online Applications will start soon.
NOTE : The candidates who had already applied pursuant to notification dated 06.10.2018 shall be eligible for the new recruitment process without any change in their eligibility criteria and need not to submit the Application forms afresh. Refer detailed Notification. The Candidates who are residents of Ladakh – UT including those who had already applied pursuant to notification dated 06.10.2018, shall be notified separately.
