ENGAGEMENT OF EXPERIENCED PERSONNEL ON CONTRACT BASIS for RDSS Scheme, Advt. No. CC/09/2022 dated 15.11.2022 Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., a Govt. of India Enterprise, is one of the leading Public Sector Companies with transmission network criss-crossing the entire length and breadth of the country. We are conferred with the status of “Maharatna” by the Govt. of India. We are in the business of Evacuation and Transfer of Extra High voltage Power from Central Sector Generating Stations to various State Grids. Besides, we are also in the business of Telecom and Domestic as well as International consultancy in the area of Power Transmission. Our Regional Headquarters are located in different parts of the country and the Regional Headquarter of Northern Region-II is at Jammu, which has its transmission network in the UTs/ states of J&K, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and part of Haryana.
POWERGRID invites applications from bright, committed & energetic candidates for filling up vacancies on contract for Revamped Distribution Sector Reform Scheme (RDSS) under Government of India. The engagement shall be purely on temporary & contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till completion of projects, whichever is earlier. The actual engagement may vary depending on requirement and status of projects. | Educational Qualification | Field Engineer : Full time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Engineering discipline or equivalent discipline from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Field Supervisor : Full Time Diploma in Electrical or equivalent discipline from recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD. |
| Pay Scale | For Post ID 208, 209 & 210 Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30,000-3%-1,20,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + perks.For Post ID 211 & 212 Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 23,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA. |
