UP Cabinet has given Approval for New Correction in UP Police Sub Inspector & Inspector Civil Police Service Rule book. From Now, Vacancies for Sub Inspector Male & Female will not release Separately but Combined Notification will release & Female will be provided 20% Reservation. Uttar Pradesh Police will make Recruitment on more than 9000 Sub Inspector (SI) Male/ Female Each Year. | Age Limit (as on 01.07.2024) | 21 to 28 Years (Age Relaxation up to Govt.Rules). Candidates will not be born before 01.07.1996 & not born after 01.07.2003 |
| Educational Qualification | Graduation Degree from any Recognized University Or any equivalent qualification approved by Government. |
Pay Scale | Rs. 9300-34,800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- |
Application Fee | Rs. 400/- (Rupees For Hundred Only) for All Category Candidates |

As We all know about Miserable Condition of Recruitment in State Police’s. As Per Stats, There are 1.50 Lac Vacant Posts in Uttar Pradesh, 37000 Vacant Posts in West Bengal, 24000 in Karnataka, 26000 in Jharkhand, 34000 in Bihar & 15000 Vacant Posts of Constable in Tamil Nadu. There are Total 11376 Sub Inspector Posts in UP. After Hearing, Supreme Court has ordered to Fill the Vacancies as soon as Possible. Moreover Supreme Court has also stated that Recruitment Board Director will not change after issuance of Advertisement & Final Result.
HOW TO APPLY : Candidates need to Apply Under Online Mode. No Other Form of Application will be accepted by UP Police Recruitment Board. Candidates will be able to Apply Online from www.prpb.gov.in. in physical measurment is weight also a criteria . becoz i am pretty overweight …i am 6’2 but my weight is 100 kgs…so please tell if such requirement is there so that i can work on it
Hi Shubham, there is no such weight criteria mention in notice. Reduce your weight so that you have ideal body mass index BMI
