Advt No. 02/2023 RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF POLICE CONSTABLE IN DISTRICT POLICE CADRE OF PUNJAB POLICE – 2023
Punjab Police Recruitment Board has started Recruitment Process for Constable Posts in District Police Force. Recruitment will also done for Vacant Seats in different wings. Details of Vacancies : Total 1746 Posts (Tentative). Category wise Vacancies are as follows :

• General/Open/Unreserved : 738 Posts
• Scheduled Castes Balmiki/Mazhbi Sikhs, Punjab : 180 Posts
• Scheduled Castes Ramdasia & Others, Punjab : 180 Posts
• Backward Classes, Punjab : 180 Posts
• Ex-Serviceman (General), Punjab : 126 Posts
• Ex-Serviceman Scheduled Castes Balmiki/Mazhbi Sikh, Punjab : 36 Posts
• Ex-Serviceman Scheduled Castes Ramdasia & Others, Punjab : 36 Posts
• Ex-Serviceman Backward Classes, Punjab : 36 Posts
• Wards of Police Personnel : 36 Posts
• Economically Weaker Sections, Punjab : 180 Posts
• Wards of Freedom Fighters, Punjab : 18 Posts

Note : Vacancies may increase or decrease. Details of Wing wise/ District wise Vacancies will be mentioned in the Official Notification. There can be Vacancies in District Police Cadre & Armed Police Cadre and also for Constable Male/ Female Posts.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2023) :The minimum age for recruitment at the rank of constable should be 18 years (both male and female) and maximum age should be 28 years. Age Cut Off Date will be available in Official Notification.

Educational Qualification : i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education
Board/University.
ii) In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.
Note : Candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

Pay Scale (Salary) : As per the Punjab Government Notification No. FD-FP 10MISC/87/2020-2FP1 dated 29.12.2020 pay scale of the post Constable is Rs.19,900/- and minimum pay admissible of Rs. 19,900/- per month for three years from the date of joining in service.

Application Fee : General category candidates have to pay Fee Rs 1100/ – & SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates Rs 600/-. There will be Rs. 500/- Application Fee Ex-Servicemen candidates.

How to Apply : Candidates has to apply for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023 under Online Mode. Offline Applications will not be accepted.
