Employment Notice No RRB/SC/Advt./CEN RPF 01/2024 The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is a security force of India entrusted with protecting railway passengers, passenger area and railway property of the Indian Railways .This is the only central armed police force (CAPF) which has the power to arrest, investigate and prosecute criminals. The force is under the authority of Ministry of Railways (India).

ONLINE applications are invited from eligible Male and Female candidates for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay matrix for the vacancies in Railway Protection Force (RPF) of various Zones of Indian Railways and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). Name of Department : Railway Police Force
Name of Post : Sub Inspector (Male/ Female). There will be Posts of Sub Inspector (Executive). Vacancies for Male & Female Candidates are as follows :

RPF SI Executive Male : 384 Posts. Category wise Vacancies are given below….

• UR : 157 Posts
• EWS : 38 Posts
• OBC : 104 Posts
• SC : 57 Posts
• ST : 28 Posts

RPF SI Executive Female : 68 Posts. Category wise Vacancies are given below….

• UR : 28 Posts
• EWS : 7 Posts
• OBC : 18 Posts
• SC : 10 Posts
• ST : 5 Posts

NOTE : ExSM 10% of total vacancy – 45 Posts

Age Limit as on 01.07.2024 : The applicant must not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. Age mentioned in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate will only be accepted.
Relaxation in upper age limit up to 5 years will be admissible to applicants belonging to SC/ST category and up to 3 years to those belonging to OBC category.

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have the Educational Qualifications (Graduate from a recognized university) prescribed in the CEN from recognized University as on the last date (i.e., 14.05.2024) for submission of ONLINE application. Those awaiting results of their final examination of the prescribed educational qualification SHOULD NOT apply

Pay Scale & Allowances : Level 6 of 7th CPC pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 35,400/- plus other allowances admissible at that time

Selection Process : Recruitment will be made based on the performance of the eligible applicants in a Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement, Viva-Voce Test, Bonus Marks, if any, obtained and Documents Verification.

Application Fee :
1 For all candidates (except categories mentioned below at Sl. No. 2).
Out of this fee of ₹ 500/-, an amount of ₹ 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT. : ₹ 500/-
2 For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC).
This fee of ₹ 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT : ₹ 250/-
NOTE: Only candidates who attend CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.
