Centralized Employment Notice CEN 01/2018 Recruitment for the Post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) & Technician Categories :- Railway Recruitment Board has recently issued Awaited Notification for Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician Posts. As mentioned in Notification, First stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will conduct first as per selection process. ALP Technician Exam was earlier Scheduled in April, 2018 but it was postponed due to large applications. More than 50 Lac Candidates has applied for Railway Loco Pilot technician Posts. Exam will conduct in 13 Languages. Railway has flagged of Loco Pilot Technician Stage 1 Exam from 09 August, 2018. RRB ALP Stage 1 Exam conduct on 09, 10, 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 30, 31 August & 04 September, 2018. RRB ALP Technician Stage 2 Exam was conducted on 21 to 23 January, 2019

RRB ALP/ Technician Exam Result 2018-2019 :

There shall be two stages examination (First stage CBT and Second Stage CBT) common for ALP and Technician. In addition, candidates who have opted for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT have to undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT). Candidates who qualify Loco Pilot Stage 1 Exam, will call for Stage 2 Exam. Railway Recruitment Boards will announced ALP Technician Exam result on their Official Website. RRB ALP Technician Online Exam Marks will also upload on Portal. Candidates will be able to check their Marks by using their Roll No./ Registration No. & Date of Birth.

RRB ALP Cut Off 2018 Stage 2 CBT deciding Factors :

Aspirants who appeared for Railway Loco Pilot Exam will know that Exam was of Total 75 Marks. Negative Marking of 0.33 Marks wass also applicable. RRB ALP Cut off Marks 2018 Technician Online Exam will be decided as follows :

  1. There will be No Sectional Cut Off in RRB ALP Online Exam. Candidates need not to worry.
  2. As It was Online Exam, RRB’s will opt Normalization Process to decide marks of Candidates & as well as cut off.
  3. Cut Off will depend on Exam Level & No. of Candidates appeared in Exam.
  4. Cut Off will decide Category wise for General, OBC, SC/ ST. There will be separate cut off for Female, Freedom Fighters, Ex Servicemen & PH Candidates.

RRB ALP Technician Minimum Qualifying Marks/ Cut Off : Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.

Candidates can check their Railway Loco Pilot & Technician 1st Stage Computer Based Test from the given Easy Steps :

  1. Visit Official Website of your Respective Railway Recruitment Board for Example RRB Allahabad (http://rrbald.gov.in/)
  2. Search Link for of 2nd Stage CBT Result for CEN 01/2018 (ALP & Technicians) for Candidates.
  3. Railway Recruitment Board wise List of Selected Candidates for 2nd Stage CBT will be available on Official RRBs Website.
  4. Candidates can download that List & Search their Roll No.
  5. RRB will also upload Marks of Loco Pilot & Technician Exam & region wise Official Cut Off Marks too.
  6. After Entering your User ID & Password, you can check RRB ALP Technician Result, Marks 2018. Take Print out of it.

Selection of RRB and Preferences for posts : RRBs will publish updated Vacancy Table on their websites indicating the RRB wise vacancies against various Railways/Production units and posts after the completion of First Stage CBT. Candidates who secure marks, equal to or above the Minimum Qualifying Marks prescribed for various communities/categories in the First Stage CBT shall be advised to exercise their option for RRB and preference of Railways and Posts within the chosen RRB. It may be noted that candidates can choose only one RRB and indicate their preference of Railway Units and posts against vacancies notified for the chosen RRB only.

After candidates submit their option for specific RRB/Railway & Posts, RRB wise shortlisting of candidates for Second Stage CBT shall be done at the rate of 15 times (may increase or decrease as per the the requirement of Railway Administration) the updated vacancies for that RRB. The short listing for Second Stage CBT will be based on the merit of candidates in First Stage CBT. The RRB wise short listed candidates for Second Stage CBT shall be advised through the websites of RRBs as well as personal communication to the registered mobile number and email to download their e call letter for appearing in the Second Stage CBT.
