EXAMINATION NOTICE NO CMS :- COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION, 2023
Examination Notice No.08/2023-CMS A combined examination for recruitment to the services and posts mentioned in para 2 below will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on the 16 July, 2023 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dept. of Health) in the Gazette of India. Name of Exam : Combined Medical Services Examination 2023
Details of Vacancies Year 2023 : 1261 Posts. The Services/ Posts to which recruitment is to be made and the approximate number of vacancies to be filled are given below :-
Category-I
Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service : 584 Posts
Category-II
- Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways : 300 Posts
- General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council : 1 Post
- General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation : 376 Posts
Age Limit : A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August, 2023 i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1991. However, for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Subcadre ofCentral Health Services, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) as on 1st August, 2023.
Educational Qualification : For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination. Get More Details from Notice given below….
Application Fee :Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card.
Selection Process : Selection for UPSC CMS Exam 2023 for Medical Officer Post will be based on Written Exam & Personal Interview. The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in
Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website. The applicants are advised to submit only single application; however, if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher RID is complete in all respects like applicants’ details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID. Candidates can apply online from 19 April to 09 May 2023.
