Selection Process : Selection to the Post of Yuva Kalyan Adhikari will be based on Written Exam & Physical Test. There will be Physical Standard Test also. Final Selection may based on merit of Written Exam.

Physical Efficiency Test : There will be Physical Standard Test Criteria for Vyayam Prakshikshak & Yuva Kalyan Adhikari Post. Candidates who fulfill required Physical Standards will be called for Physical Test/ PET. Candidate should follow the given Criteria :

• Height for Male Candidates : 160 cm (ST Candidates) & 167.7 cm (Other Candidates)
• Height for Female Candidates : 147 cm (ST Candidates) & 152 cm (Other Candidates)
• Chest for Male Candidates : 76.5 cm (ST Candidates) & 78.8 cm (Other Candidates). Chest will be expanded up to 5 cm.

Exercise Trainer (Vyayam Prakshikshak) Physical Test : There will be two sections in Physical Test. One is Indian Exercise & Other is Gymnastics. Candidates need to get 50 Marks of 75 Marks in Indian Exercise (40 Marks for Female Candidates) & Candidates need to get 75 Marks of 125 Marks in Gymnastics Section (65 Marks for Female Candidates).

Yuva Kalyan Adhikari (Vyayam Prakshikshak) Physical Test : There will be 4 sections in Physical Test i.e 200 meters Race, High Jump, Long Jump, Shotput for Male candidates & 200 meters Race, Long Jump, Cricket Ball Throw, Skipping Rope for Female Candidates. To Qualify for Written Exam, Candidates need to secure min 10 Marks in each section.

Exam Pattern : As Written Exam is First stage to get Yuva Kalyan Adhikari Job, candidates must aware regarding Exam Pattern. As Interview has been scrapped from Group C Posts, so Exam Pattern can be as follows :-

• There will be 200 Questions in Exam comprising of 400 Marks.
• There will be Negative Marking of 1/2 Marks in UP Yuva Kalyan Adhikari Exam 2018.
• Time Duration wll be 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
• Written Exam is of Intermediate Level.
• Exam will be conduct under Offline Mode on OMR Sheets.
• There will be 50 Questions (100 Marks) each from from Reasoning, Hindi, General Science and Algebra & General Knowledge Sections.

General Knowledge & Current Affairs : Important National & International Current Affairs, Important Current Affairs of Uttar Pradesh, Place, Personalities, Books, National & International Sports Awards, Indian Culture & Art etc.

Reasoning :It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate‘s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
