Advt. No: UPMRC/HR/Rectt/O&M/1/2024 Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) also named as UP Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL), a joint venture company of Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation and operation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System in the capital city of Lucknow. Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation has recently announced Vacancies for Various Technical & Non Technical Posts. In New LMRC Notification, there are Vacancies for Assistant Manager (Civil), Assistant Manager (Electrical), Assistant Manager (S&T), Assistant Manager (Accounts), Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical), Junior Engineer (S&T), Account Assistant, Office Assistant HR, Public Relation Assistant, Maintainer. LMRC has decided to conduct Exams for these Posts in the month of January 2023.

UP Metro (UPMRCL) Online Exam Date : 11, 12 & 14 May 2024
Lucknow Metro Admit Card 2024 Date : Candidates must remain in constant touch with LMRC’s website www.lmrcl.com for information regarding dates of written test, result of written test, schedule of Psycho Aptitude Test, & Medical test etc. The eligible candidates, whose applications are available on the Master list may download the admit card through LMRC’s website as per schedule & instructions notified on LMRC’s website in advance.
LMRC Admit Card Download Dates : from 30 April, 2024
NOTE : The admit card for written test will NOT be sent by post or email. It will only be downloaded by candidates from LMRC website www.lmrcl.com.
SC/ TO Psycho Aptitude Test : It is hereby informed that Psycho aptitude test for stage 1 written exam qualified candidates for the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO) against the vacancy notice No.UPMRC/HR/Rectt/O&M/1/2024 tentatively at Lucknow. Exact details i.e. date, venue, timing, etc shall be communicated to the written qualified candidates in due course.
After Psycho aptitude test, final provisional results will be declared. Such provisionally successful candidates in stage 2 Psycho aptitude test will be required to undergo Document verification/Medical examination immediately after declaration of results. Finally successful candidates after stage 3 DV/Medical exam (all documents are in order and they are medically fit as prescribed in the notification) will be required to join UPMRC immediately thereafter. Candidates qualified in Psycho aptitude test should prepare themselves accordingly.
LMRC Exam Pattern 2024 : Exam Pattern will be as Follows :
- The written test will consist of one paper to be held on the one or more days. Examination will be conducted Online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi. It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions.
(i) There will be a total of 140 questions for categories other than Maintainer. Each carrying equal marks.
(ii) There will be a total of 100 question for categories for Maintainer Post Each carrying equal marks. - There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
- The Paper shall be of 2 hours duration.
