Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 for filling up Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The Tier-I of CGL Examination in Computer Based Mode is scheduled to be held in Year 2025. Final selection through the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025 to various posts would be according to the confirmed number of vacancies from the concerned Indenting Ministries/ Departments/ Offices/ Cadres before declaration of result. Number of Vacancies (CGL 2025) : There are approx. 8415 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies, if any, along with Post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.nic.in> Candidate’s Corner > Tentative Vacancy) in due course. Candidates may note that State-wise/ Zone-wise vacancies are not collected by the Commission.

Educational Qualification :- (As on 01.08.2025)
Compiler : Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
Statistical Investigator Grade – II : Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level: OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Assistant Audit Officer : a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. b) Desirable Qualifications for the Post of Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/- (One hundred only). All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of Online Written Exam (Tier 1 & Tier 2). Descriptive Test & Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test will be conducted for Written Exam Qualified Candidates.

- Candidates can Apply under Online Mode from the Official Website. Online submission of the application for SSC CGL 2025 can be made from 22 April, 2025
- Candidates are required to have Valid Email Id & Mobile No as Important Details like Registration No. & Password will be sent to this EMail Id or Mobile No.
- Candidates should have 10th, 12th, Graduation Mark sheets to fill Online Application Correctly.
- Scanned Copy of Recent Photography & Signature (In Prescribed Size).
- Link for Online Application & Fee Payment will be available from 22 April, 2025.
- Candidates need to take Print Out of Filled Application Form for future Reference.
