Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2023 The Staff Selection Commission conducted an open examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. As Per Selection process, SSC Constable GD Online Exam conduct from 20 February to 12 March 2024. SSC GD Re Exam conducted on 30 March 2024.

SSC Constable GD Cut Off 2024 deciding Factors : Aspirants who appeared for SSC Constable Online Exam 2024 will know that Exam was of Total 100 Marks. Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks is also applicable. SSC GD Cut Off 2024 Online Exam will be decided as follows :
- There will be No Sectional Cut Off in SSC Constable GD 2024 Online Exam. Candidates need not to worry.
- As It was Online Exam, SSC will opt Normalization Process to decide marks of Candidates & as well as cut off.
- Cut Off will depend on Exam Level & No. of Candidates appeared in Exam.
- Cut Off will decide Category wise for General, OBC, SC/ ST. There can be separate cut off for Freedom Fighters, Ex Servicemen & PH Candidates.
- The number of candidates shortlisted for PET/PST on the basis of merit in the Computer Based examination will be around 10 times of the number of vacancies.
SSC Constable GD Normalization Process : To address any variation in difficulty levels of question papers across different shifts, the scores of the candidates will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission. Short-listing of candidates for PET/ PST and Medical Examination will be done on the basis of normalized marks scored by the candidates. Final merit as well as selection of the candidates will also be made on the basis of normalized marks.

About SSC Constable GD Online Exam 2024 : There were Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions in the Online Exam. Questions was from Non Technical Sections. The examination would comprise 100 questions carrying 100 marks for two hours duration. The questions in all the components will be of Matriculation level. Total Time Duration for Exam 120 Minutes (02 Hours). There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Part-I&II.
