Public Health Engineering Department was created in 1927 to provide drinking water supply and sewerage facilities in Uttar Pradesh. In year 1946 it was rechristened as Local Self Government Engineering Department (LSGED). In 1975, it was converted to Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam through Uttar Pradesh Water Supply and Sewerage ACT, 1975 (ACT no-43, 1975). As per this ACT Jal Nigam has jurisdiction over whole Uttar Pradesh (except Cantonment Area). The basic objective of creating this this corporation is development and regulation of water supply & sewerage services and for matters connected therewith. Age Limit : Maximum Age Limit can be 40 Years. Age Relaxation will be provided as per government Rules. Full Detail will available in Official Notification.

Educational Qualification :
Junior Engineer : Candidates having 3 Year Diploma in Relevant Stream can apply.
Assistant Engineer : Candidates having Degree of BE/ B.Tech  in Relevant Stream can apply.

Pay Scale : Pay Matrix Level 7 Rs. 44900/-

Application Fee :
General/ OBC/ Other State Candidates : Rs. 1000/-
SC/ ST : Rs. 700/-
Physically Handicapped : Rs. 10/-

3. Candidates should have 10th, 12th, Graduation/ Diploma Mark sheets to fill Online Application Correctly.
4. Scanned Copy of Recent Photography & Signature (In Prescribed Size).
5. Link for Online Application & Fee Payment will be available till last date mention in official notice.
6. Candidates need to take Print Out of Filled Application Form for future Reference.
7. All the candidates before submission application fee check all the entry fill in the form is corrected because after fee submission under any circumstances fee should not be refundable.
