UPPSC Computer Assistant Selection Process 2023 : The aforesaid examination shall be conducted in two phases. There shall be one question paper in first phase, written examination which will be objective type and multiple choice. On the basis of above said examination 10 times of candidates of total Vacant posts shall qualify for Hindi typing (on computer) test on merit basis.

UPPSC Computer Assistant Written Exam Pattern 2023 :

For UPPSC Computer Assistant Posts, Written Exam will be conducted First. Shortlisted Candidates will call for Document Verification/ Typing Test. Note Down Some Points regarding UP Computer Assistant Exam Written Test 2023 is as follows :

• There will be Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions in Exam.
• Written Test comprises of Total 100 Marks & 100 Questions.
• There will be Negative Marking of 1/4 Marks in Exam & Exam will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English.

General Hindi : अलंकार, समास, विलोम, पर्यायवाची, रस, संधियां, तद्भव तत्सम, लोकोक्तियाँ, मुहावरे, वाक्यांशों के लिए एक शब्द, अनेकार्थी शब्द वाक्य संशोधन -लिंग, वचन, कारक, काल, वर्तनी, त्रुटि से सम्बंधित

General Knowledge : Syllabus for General Knowledge Subject comprises of following Topics :-

General Science, Current Affairs of National & International Importance, Indian History, Freedom Movement, Indian Politics & Economics, World Geography & Population.

Indian History : Focus will be on Knowledge of Financial, Social, Religious & Political Parties. Under Indian Freedom Movement knowledge about Nature & Specialty of Indian Freedom Movement, Rise of nationalism.

World Geography : General Knowledge will be tested about Physical/ Ecology of India, Economical, Social, Demographic Issues.

General Intelligence/ Reasoning : It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate‘s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

Important Topics : Mathematical ability, Graphical and pattern analysis ability, Reasoning ability &  Data Comparison and decision making

Computer Knowledge : Questions will be asked from Basics of Computer, Computer Generations & Development, Internet, Questions related to Data Entry on various Software like DOS/ UNIX/ Windows MS Office, Lotus/ Smart Suite, Networking, Current techniques related to Computer. Topic wise Distribution is as follows :

(i) Operating System : Windows, Linux, Unix
(ii) Computer Languages: C, C++
(iii) Document Handling: Files Formats, Merging, Editing and Various
other documents Processing, Power Print, PDF etc.
(iv) Data base Handling: MS-Access, Spreadsheets, Simple Database
preparation.
(v) Internet and E-mails: w.w.w., Popular Websites, Web Surfing, Email
